Hi, I’m Tracie!

Nestled off Red Tail Lane, a private road off Hannegan, you'll find my home and my family- your neighbor and real estate advisor. I'm investing in the Meridian School District community and housing-related community activism, such as water rights, and I'm continuously advocating for YOU and our COMMUNITY! My mission is to inspire and educate those around me to help them achieve their goals with real estate. Whether it be a first-time home purchase, a move-up to your dream home, or adding another property to your investment portfolio, I'm committed to working hard for you.

You may have heard about the Water Adjudication process happening in Whatcom County. This court-led process is simply designed to document how water is used throughout the Nooksack watershed.

For most homeowners, this is not something to worry about. The goal is simply to create a record of water use across the county. Submitting a claim does not create penalties or consequences for typical household water use — it just documents how water is used on your property.

If you have received a claim form, it will ask basic questions about your water source and how it’s used. The deadline to file a claim has been extended to June 1, 2027.

Helpful resources are also available, including a water use calculator on the county website to help estimate typical residential usage.

While I can’t provide legal advice, I’ve shared a simple breakdown and links to official resources on my blog.
